Our training services include consultation and guidance for working with and correcting specific issues or alternatively; Doggy Bootcamp.  Bootcamp sessions generally run a minimum of 2 weeks and are comprised of  boarding for the full session in our home and several, daily training sessions to address issues as discussed and outlined in our preliminary meeting for the duration of the camp session. We believe in promoting a positive pack environment and do not accept aggressive and/or overly dominant behaviour from anyone.  Corporal punishment in NEVER used, we do not believe in it.  Corrections are done softly, but firmly.  Positive reinforcement is in our opinion the best approach to achieving a great relationship. Proof of vaccinations or adequate titer results is mandatory for all participants of canine persuasion.  Please ensure that you have completed the appropriate forms prior to our preliminary meeting.



Basic Training & Consulting Services:

Exercise and proper socialization play a strong part in having happy, well adjusted dogs.  Training also plays a key roll in your dog's emotional well being.  Basic training and consultation sessions offer you guidance and support while working with your companion to achieve the level of obedience and understanding you require.  Session rates are based training being completed in your home or at a local park.

Rate per hour $75.00*

Doggy Bootcamp:

Bootcamp is a concentrated program designed to help families get a jump start on training.  For many, time is at a premium while juggling work, home life, family and friends.  A busy life can make the consistency required for successful training difficult.  Stressful days can lead to rushed, frustrating training attempts that leave you and your dog both frustrated and overwhelmed.  Camp sessions are handled on a per case basis.  An assessment of your dog will be completed at no charge and session terms can be suggested to accommodate the training requested.  Sessions are private.  Only one dog is in care at a time to ensure maximum attention to his or her needs.  Our canine campers become a part of our household for the duration and learn to follow the rules of our pack.  We focus on a calm and relaxed home environment with lots of high energy playtime at lunch.  For more information on our bootcamp program you may send inquiries to info@ferghusandcompany.ca
